Brisbane Retro Tour Part 01.

Whenever I have things to do in Brisbane CBD, I would take the chance to walk from "The Valley" all the way Down Town, and so allow myself to discover our wonderful city every time a little more. On these discovery trips I was lucky enough to come across a couple of really fabulous retro buildings that I am excited to share with our retro fans, friends and viewers. Be ready to thrive with our Brisbane Retro Buildings.

  1. Australian Government Centre:

  • Location: 293 Ann Street/4000.QLD, (photo taken from Turbot Street just before Sofitel Hotel CBD bound).

  • Height: 72 Metres.

  • Floors: 17.

2. Sofitel Hotel:

  • Location: 249 Turbot Street/4000.QLD.

  • Height: 95 Metres.

  • Floors: 25.

  • Year: 1984.

3. Hilton International Hotel:

  • Location: 190 Elizabeth Street/4000.QLD.

  • Height: 84 Metres.

  • Floors: 25.

  • Year: 1987.

4. King George Tower:

Location: 79 Adelaide Street.

Height: 52 Metres.

Floors: 14.

Year: Unknown.

5. Suncorp Metway Plaza:

  • Location: 143-165 Turbot Street/4000.QLD

  • Height: 118 Metres.

  • Floors: 26.

  • Year: 1971.

6. Suncorp Bank Tower:
